Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh herbs, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
- Place the chicken in a resealable bag or a dish, pour marinade over it, and ensure it’s coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish, marinating in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat or 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and cook until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
Notes
Fresh herbs are preferred for vibrant flavor; dried herbs can be used in half the quantity. Lime juice can substitute lemon juice for a zesty kick.
