Description

A delightful dessert that perfectly balances sweet and creamy flavors, often enjoyed during special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon jasmine extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and palm sugar until fully combined and frothy.
  3. Gradually whisk in the coconut milk and jasmine extract until smooth and well-blended.
  4. Evenly pour the mixture into four ramekins, filling them just below the rim.
  5. Place the ramekins in a large baking dish, creating a water bath. Carefully fill the dish with boiling water until it reaches three-quarters up the sides of the ramekins.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the custard comes out clean.
  7. Once done, remove the ramekins from the water bath and let them cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle toasted coconut flakes on top before serving. A dash of salt can balance the sweetness.
