Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert combining creamy mascarpone with fresh strawberries, perfect for spring and summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Begin by beating the heavy cream in a bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  5. Create the first layer by arranging the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish.
  6. Spread a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the cream.
  8. Repeat the layering process until you’ve used all your ingredients, finishing with a layer of mascarpone.
  9. Cover and refrigerate your tiramisu for several hours or overnight.
  10. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with additional strawberry slices.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor; make sure to choose high-quality mascarpone for a rich taste. Avoid freezing as it changes the texture.
