Description

A refreshing iced tea combining dried hibiscus flowers and sweet strawberries for a vibrant summer drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, add the dried hibiscus flowers and allow them to steep for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the used hibiscus flowers.
  4. While the tea is still warm, stir in honey or agave syrup, if desired, for sweetness.
  5. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before adding in the sliced strawberries.
  6. Refrigerate the mixture until fully chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and enjoy the refreshing goodness!

Notes

Adjust steeping time based on your taste preferences; avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
