Description

A cozy, indulgent chicken casserole with creamy cheeses and a crunchy Ritz cracker topping, perfect for weeknight dinners and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onion, minced garlic, and cream of chicken soup. Mix until completely blended.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake in your preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the dish is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken to save time. Substitute low-fat dairy options if desired. Feel free to add fresh herbs for an extra kick!
