Description

This Melt in Your Mouth Chicken Breast is a quick and easy dish that boasts incredible flavors, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken breasts: If your chicken breasts are thick, butterfly them or use a meat mallet to pound them to an even thickness.
  2. Season the chicken: In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts.
  3. Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Add the butter and chicken broth: Lower the heat and pour in the chicken broth and butter.
  5. Simmer the chicken: Cover the skillet and let the chicken simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Finish and serve: Remove the chicken from the skillet and allow it to rest for a few minutes.

Notes

Fresh chicken breasts yield the best flavor; thaw completely if using frozen. For a dairy-free option, omit the butter or use a vegan substitute.
