Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 6 slices of crispy bacon
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (150 g) diced tomatoes
- ½ cup (75 g) diced onions
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Drain excess grease, leaving a small amount for flavor.
- Add the diced onions and cook until soft and translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Whisk together the heavy cream and eggs in a separate bowl.
- Pour the cream mixture over the beef in the casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
