Ingredients
- 1 cup brown butter (cooled to room temperature)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the cooled brown butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the room temperature eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until light and fluffy, about one minute.
- Incorporate the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and kosher salt. Mix until just combined.
- Roll about 3 tablespoons of dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Bake the chilled cookie dough balls for 9-11 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
