Description

A comforting casserole combines sweet and savory corn flavors, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Butter for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Combine the corn, milk, eggs, honey, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  3. Fold in the cheese if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
