Description

A flavorful marinade that enhances the taste of any protein or vegetable, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and honey until fully blended.
  2. Add Herbs and Spices: Stir in your choice of fresh or dried herbs and the desired spices to taste.
  3. Marinate: Pour the marinade over your choice of protein or vegetables. Make sure everything is evenly coated.
  4. Timing: Allow the marinade to sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor penetration.
  5. Grill: Once marinated, grill your protein or veggies until cooked through and enjoy the fantastic flavors!

Notes

Fresh herbs are preferable; use dried herbs if necessary. For a lighter version, reduce olive oil or use low-sodium soy sauce.
