Description

Delightful frozen treats combining creamy peanut butter and sweet banana, all encased in rich dark chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into thick rounds.
  2. Spread a small amount of peanut butter between two banana slices to create a sandwich.
  3. Place the banana sandwiches on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for about 1 hour.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each frozen banana sandwich into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated.
  6. Return the chocolate-covered bites to the parchment-lined tray.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with sea salt.
  8. Freeze until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
  9. Store the bites in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Ensure bananas are properly spaced on the tray while freezing to prevent sticking.
