Description

Delightful French toast roll-ups with a fun twist, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Butter for cooking
  • Syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin until they are thin and pliable.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar in a mixing bowl until well combined and creamy.
  3. Dip each flattened slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
  4. Roll up each slice of bread tightly, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled-up bread in the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm with syrup for dipping!

Notes

These roll-ups are best enjoyed warm but can be stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for a month.
