Description

Satisfying and crispy breakfast potatoes, perfect for any morning meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley (fresh, or 1/2 tsp dried)

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting your potatoes into small 1/2-inch cubes to ensure even cooking.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter and oil.
  3. Once the skillet is hot, add the potato cubes. Toss them to coat fully in the butter and oil mixture.
  4. Sprinkle the potatoes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder—save the parsley for later.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the potatoes lightly steam for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid and stir the potatoes occasionally, allowing them to cook uncovered. Turn them over using a spatula to achieve an even browning on all sides.
  7. Cook until the potatoes are golden brown and crisp on the outside, while soft on the inside.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, choose fresh potatoes; russet or Yukon Gold work well. Feel free to swap fresh parsley with dried, but use half the amount to maintain flavor balance. To add extra flavor, consider incorporating chopped bell peppers or onions.
