Description
A flavorful and tender turkey breast cooked in a crockpot, perfect for busy weeknights and festive gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 turkey breast (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, ensuring every bit is coated. Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned turkey breast into your crockpot and pour the chicken broth around it.
- Cover the crockpot with its lid and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes until tender and fully cooked.
- Remove the turkey from the crockpot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes to allow juices to redistribute, then slice and serve.
Notes
For best flavor, consider using fresh herbs. If you don’t have chicken broth, vegetable broth is a good alternative. Optional add-ins like sliced onions or carrots can enhance flavor.
