Description

A warm, creamy casserole combining chicken, broccoli, and bacon, perfect for low-carb diets and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 slices cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar (for topping)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Steam or blanch the broccoli florets until just tender, then drain them well.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli, chopped turkey bacon, minced garlic, mozzarella, cheddar, and ranch dressing. Mix until everything is well coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the top with the additional shredded cheddar and mozzarella for a gooey, cheesy finish.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until everything is hot, bubbly, and golden brown.
  7. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Fresh broccoli works best for texture, but frozen can also be used—just ensure it’s fully thawed and drained. If you prefer pork bacon, that will work too, but keep an eye on the carb content if you’re counting. Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting and flavor. Consider adding bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
