Description

A comforting dish of crispy roasted baby potatoes coated in a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for any gathering or family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut the baby potatoes in half. Toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and tender.
  4. Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic for a minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and let it melt into the sauce, allowing it to bubble gently.
  7. Once the potatoes are out of the oven, drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over them. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Add-ins like cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms can enhance the dish.
