Description

A comforting pasta dish enveloped in a rich cheese sauce with fresh broccoli for a delightful balance of indulgence and health.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any type)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain the pasta and broccoli, and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the cheese, mixing until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the cheese sauce, tossing well to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and pasta types. You can also add protein like grilled chicken or shrimp.
