Description

Deliciously chewy cookies bursting with rich chocolate chunks, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated well before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just blended.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chunks with a spatula, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop generous spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown while the center remains soft.
  8. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a gourmet touch, sprinkle a tiny bit of flaky sea salt on top just before serving.
