Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mixed candies (e.g., chocolate chips, M&M’s, nuts)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie plate with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, thoroughly mixing after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until blended.
- Fold in your choice of mixed candies, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly into the greased pie plate, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing to serve.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
