Description

A deliciously addictive treat that combines rich boiled eggs with a spiced garlic butter sauce, perfect for a late-night snack or zesty appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 6–8 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling the eggs in a pot for about 10–12 minutes until fully cooked. Let them cool, peel, and set them aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the stick of unsalted butter over medium heat until it’s fully liquid.
  3. Add the sliced onions to the pan. Cook them until they become soft and fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, garlic paste, and the blend of seasonings (Old Bay, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes). Let it all cook together for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and reduce the heat. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld beautifully.
  6. Place the boiled eggs into a serving bowl and pour the hot garlic butter sauce over the top.
  7. Serve immediately while hot or allow to chill if desired. Either way, you’re about to experience something amazing.

Notes

Use fresh eggs for the best flavor and texture. If you’re short on broth, water can work in a pinch. Optional: Consider adding chopped fresh herbs like parsley or chives for garnish.
