Description
A savory and slightly sweet Bourbon Chicken dish cooked on a Blackstone griddle, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Bourbon
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
- 1 pound Chicken (thighs or breasts)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Green Onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Add chicken to the marinade, ensuring it’s well coated. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken on the griddle and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Brush remaining marinade onto the chicken while cooking to enhance the flavor.
- Once cooked, take it off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice and garnish with green onions before serving. Enjoy your Bourbon Chicken!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add chili flakes to the marinade. Can be made vegetarian with firm tofu.
