Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture; beat until fully combined.
- Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually stir into the banana mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
