Description

Quick and delightful air-fried apples, perfect for a sweet snack or dessert with a warm aroma of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 2 red apples (Pink Lady, Honey Crisp, or Gala)—peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix the apple cubes: In a medium bowl, combine the apple cubes with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and cinnamon. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Air fry the apples: Transfer the apple mixture to the air fryer basket, spreading them out.
  4. Cook thoroughly: Air fry for 10 to 14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Finish with maple syrup: Remove apples and toss in the remaining maple syrup while warm.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream, over oatmeal, or on their own.

Notes

For best texture, use firm and fresh apples. Substitutes like honey or agave syrup can be used. Consider adding a splash of vanilla extract.
